It was a beautiful day.
I went for a big long walk with Mom in the crunchy frost.
Then we went in the car, but not to Mom's work like usual.
Suddenly we were at the Rose City Classic Dog Show.
What fun! I saw lots of my friends - trainer Marj, breeders Kim and Leo, lots of my sisters, brothers, cousins, aunties and other relatives.
My brother Calvin (I think that's his name) won first in his class. There were a lot of other Cardi W Corgis in it.
Lots of people thought I was cute and I got my picture taken a lot by random people that we met.
Here I am, hanging out before my class.
I got second in my class. There was only one other Cardi Corgi in it. He wasn't one of my relatives.
I had fun. I was pretty tired though and didn't want to go fast. Then I grabbed the lead. That drives Mom nuts!
Here I am, taking the lead at the show . . .
Trainer Marj caught me at it.
The other guy was tired too and he flat out lay down in the middle of
his walk. Everyone thought we were both cute and laughed. The judge
liked us both and couldn't make up his mind. Mom started watching the
judge instead of me so I went over to sniff something, and the judge
chose the other guy.
Here I am with Mom, watching the other guy.
Breeder Kim says I don't have to keep on going in shows which is fine. There are lots of cool things to do in life. Mom may put me in one or two more, just for fun and to show off my ears. Then I will retire and get 'tutored'. ??
This is what happens when you semi-retire. I never had time for a dog before, so I never seriously considered getting one. Now that I have, I am keeping a log of the adventure, and sharing with friends who are interested. Now that he is here and is well established, I have allowed Toko to write the blog, and put his name on it.

January 15 - I am five months old
But the course of human events - their births and birthdays - left mom with no time for a photo shoot - except for this one:
Me, havin' a snooze on the couch.
The scale said 24.5 pounds.

January 4th: Toko Does Business at the Office
OK people, dogs - Let's all put our bones on the table.
Um, . . . I think I'll take mine OFF the table.
I think I need to chew on it for a while.
These pictures are OLD! Mom says they're just two weeks old, but that chair has gotten way too small since then. There's not really room for all of me AND the bone. . .
Dec. 22: Toko Graduates from Beginner Training
This is really late for a post, but there are these crazy pictures Mom just put into the computer!
Here is Jett and his human, Heidi, Me and Mom, and Marly and his human Ann.
And me in my funny graduation hat. It messes up the look of my ears, but everyone was so proud of me I agreed to wear it for a few seconds.
Now I go to intermediate training with Trainer Marj. It's hard but fun. Marj gives good treats!
